You also gave me hope that I can still do great things for God despite being divorced. But honey, I'm free from that man & that is all that matters! I was invited to attend last night by a friend. I'm so glad I did. I held back the tears until the altar call. New converts was all it took, I was crying hard, nose running, nose blowing hard. Just listening to the short clip, I can already tell this song speaks to my heart, right where I'm at. I lost my dad, my best friend, 3 days before Christmas '09 and it was sudden, tragic. I did not have the chance to reach him, to say goodbye...and the devastation, grief and loss surely felt like I was swept away... Eight months later...I can honestly say, I am beginning to let God breathe new life through this broken heart. Here I am...with some distance between now and then...the dust in some ways is settling...and those chorus words hit me strong...I'm still standing on my knees. Thank you JEsus for not giving up on me...for holding me quietly through this pain... And again, as always, thank you Sarah for your gutt honesty--it inspires me to hang on, to fight...

This song was very special to my husband and me at a very hard time in our lives. Our son had just been born in 2007, but due to having a severe brain infection after birth, he at first was not expected to live, but by the grace of God, he did. However, Jackson is a beautiful little boy with many special needs. He is 3 years old now and has the most beautiful smile you will ever see. However, many things that we take for granted he will never do. he will likely never walk or even sit up. He will likely never be able to speak (although we are working very hard on it!). Every day is a struggle but we get through every day by the grace of God. This song is a reminder to us that all of these worldly struggles are only for a matter of time. That very soon, we will have perfect bodies in Heaven and very soon, we will hear our son tell us that he loves us, even though he cannot do it on this earth. Thank you for reminding us of that!

I wanted to share an experience that I had on a recent trip from Washington D.C. to Dallas DFW. Before the plane was to take off from Washingtons Reagan Airport, very bad storms had rolled into the area, so bad I thought the flight would be cancelled. The flight did take off and it was, needless to say, a very rough take off. The plane was pitching hard back and forth very hard and dropping and climbing. After we reached the 10,000 ft level we were aloud to use electronics. I plugged my head phones into my iPhone and started to listen to "Faithful Father" as I started to listen and holding onto the armrests with a grip that could not be pealed off, the chorus "Faithful Father I surrender all to you" the aircraft broke through the stormy clouds. It was so beautiful when Sarah sang that chorus and we were now just above the clouds and it was so sunny and calm. I will always remeber that moment. Thank you and praise HIM

Hi Sarah, I waited in line to give you a hug after you shared your heart at FOW church in TX because our stories of abuse and faith are similar. I cried and didn't want to let go because I felt a deep connection as survivors of abuse, and I knew our meeting was God inspired. I told you how I am at the end of a long battle of divorce so it is still emotionally raw for me. But what I didn't get a chance to tell you was that I don't live in TX-I happened to fly in with my kids to visit my brother that weekend from Connecticut. We decided to go to his church at the last minute, and as soon as I heard your story I knew why God led me there. Europe-CT-meet in TX-cool. I needed to hear your words "All I wanted was to love and be loved unconditionally". You inspired me to stay strong.I would love to chat about coming to our church to sing and share your story. It's smaller than TX, but we usually have music worship events when our churches in CT, New York and Boston all come together.

This may be a little different from what is normally shared on here, but I want to ask for prayers for a little girl whose name is unknown. She came through my friends checkout line at work today, and the mother was extremely verbally violent toward her in front of a complete stranger. I can only imagine the torment this little girl deals with at home. PLEASE pray for the safety of this beautiful child and pray that her mother doesn't break her spirit. She couldn't have been more than 8 or 9 and she was completely subdued, and seemed aged far beyond her years. My heart aches for this precious child.

Sarah, I was absolutely riveted this morning at Fellowship of The Woodlands,as I too, was in a physically abusive marriage with a man from Freeport, Illinois ( how ironic is that ,that you are from Rockford ? ). I was married to him for 13 years, thinking it was going to change. One night, after we had moved to Colorado Springs, he chased me up the stairs one night calling me every filthy name he could think of to get money from me, ( he did not work ). Our children were young and he was allowing his behavior to be seen by two innocent children,with not a second thought as to their mental health by this abuse. I told him to get out,I was done, and he left two weeks later. The thirteen years prior were filled with police visits,punching holes in my home, destroying my things,calling me evil names in front of my kids, although I supported him and he did not work. I have been divorced for 10 years now, and they have been the best years. Sarah, thank you so much for your story.

Sarah, I attended the 11:30 worship service today at my church, Fellowship of the Woodlands. I am in a knee brace and on crutches, but something told me that was not an excuse and that I needed to be there, although I didn't know why. After listening to your wonderful angelic voice and listening to your story, I felt truly blessed. I felt motivated, inspired and it renewed my faith and commitment to Christ. You have moved me beyond words and I have never heard some of the notes you are able to hit. YOu are such a shining wonderful example of God's love. God bless you! Hi Sarah my name is Tony and I'm the one that talked to you in the lobby of Wood Lands Church Sunday after service. I am very sorry for all the tears that were flowing while you and I were talking. I was the one that told you that not only women are going thru what you went thru. You told me that you didn't want to bring that up in t...he testimony you gave but that I was the first guy that told you about it. I asked you if it was easy and worth it to walk away when you did, I will try to remember what you told me. Our testimonys are very much alike as I told you and you agreed. The problem I have is that I pray every every morning that the Lord will give me strength to do what you told me to do. As I type this to you tears flow even now but they are tears of peace and joy because I have a new sister in Christ that I never knew. It was more than I expected when i learned there was going to be another special guest at church today. Ms. Kelly Sarah - you revived my spirit this morning! Just like you said during your performance, that everyone has a story...I lost my little sister two years ago, and it has knocked me right off my seat. My life has been a mess and I accepted that it will probably never be the same. It was affecting my family - especially my husband. The loss consumed me, and I couldn't understand why God couldn't just break me through this funk if He loved me so much. However, when you sang Amazing Grace - my knees buckled, my stomach shivered, and my heart melted. I knew at that moment that Jesus never left me, and if i had to let jessica go, who better to surrender her to than to our Savior Jesus Christ. Your voice, your song, your words just beautifully came together and rekindled my spirit. Thank you Sarah Kelly for doing exactly what you were born to do.

Hi Sister, I saw u on Christian TV singing At About Midnight. I could not remember your name as I can be a bit ADD. I kept asking God to help me recall it I wanted to get the CD. A month later I went to the Pm service at Capo Beach Calvary San Juan Cap. and was in the lobby. In the distance i heard you warming up in the sanctuary. I could not beleive it! I flew in and u were warming up with good ole Pastor Harry. I flew in saying I CANT BEIEVE IT! IT'S YOU. pastor harry introduced us.I wanted to tell you what God did. That yr my dad died, my apt burned down, i had a flood and had boils on my legs.was sleeping on an air mattress. I kept getting fired and felt like god had left me. when I met you I realized god brought you to me in person. better than letting me just buy the CD. When I met you you shared your testimony with me. So see you and at about midnight were truly my present straight from heaven. God was showing me.. I hear and I see. Keep on girl. Love you in Christ.

I am really bummed that i didnt have the chance to say bye to you after the last service on Sunday, I had some family obligations. Hey Sarah, I went to the Signature Girls' conference in Toledo on Saturday, and you completely inspire me. I'm 17, I was cutting about a year and a half ago for a few months and got delivered. Your story was so inspiring, and it will forever be a reminder for me to never go back. I write songs and sing and play keys, and I'd sort of like to be like you someday, singing and playing and ushering the presence of God in for others. The thing about the guy giving you $20,000 was totally awesome. I really wanted to talk to you after the conference, but my youth group dragged me out ;) If ever I could send you a couple of my songs, and you could give me tips/pray for me, that'd be really awesome! Hi, your introduction about yourself, regarding your abusive relationship, really touched me. I have recently escaped from one that verged physical abuse, and I gained many scars and bruises from the emotional abuse I received. You mentioned yours stemmed from leaving a light on... I can relate so well to that - mine was usually because I didn't get to my phone quick enough at all hours. I agree this needs to be brought to light, but at the same time, I know for myself, it's hard to admit that I was a victim. I feel so much shame for falling into the trap. HI, I just wanted to thank you so much for your performance yesterday. It was so moving and you are so adorable and angelic. I wanted to thank you for telling your story about being an abused wife. I too suffered through 7 1/2 years of an abusive marriage and one day, I left with the clothes on my back and never looked back. I had to leave my two very young daughters behind to avoid being killed. It's been more than 20 years, but the pain and the abuse lives on, but through Christ I manage it well and have more insite on what to avoid in relationships. My 18 year old daughter was with me yesterday in church and I am very happy she was there to hear your story. You have been through the bad but you chose to see past it and know that God would RESTORE. You chose healing. Like you, I have been the 'victim' of domestic violence. The only good I ever thought came from that was my seven year old son. Last night, I cried all night. Your story...hit home and it hit hard. Many people don't realize the cycle or addiction as you called it. It's so difficult to get out of. I remember growing up and hearing about domestic violence and thinking, how stupid can those women be? I thought I'd never let that happen to me. Yeah, and then it did. I've been divorced now for almost two years. When I was going thru it, I felt so alone. See, I had moved out of state, and all my family is here. I didn't cling to God like I should have. I just got angry and did the whole 'why me' thing. I realized last night during your performance that I haven't quite let it go. I still feel broken. I thought I had moved on, and it'll just take more time. No, I've got to get it out. I have to face it. Thank you. I felt like you were speaking right to me!

So love this song more than any other. It's become an great inspiration for my life & walk in Christ. It really hit me today how often I listen to it, (probably a least 6 times a day) when my youngest daughter (4 next Friday) now sings it work for work, in perfect pitch and tune. It's great to know that it's not only touch me my my 3 daughters too. My oldest is in piano lessons as she want to be just like Sarah Kelly, writing & singing for God. Thank you. xx

I don't know do you even read these messages, but I really hope you do! I just want to let you know how amazing your concerts were in Maata Näkyvissä, in Turku. I had never heard your songs before but I bought your newest album right away after the first concert on Saturday.. I like Not quite home and Amazing grace the most. I actually learnt myself how to play Not quite home by piano.. :D You have great voice and great songs and it's so cool that you give all glory to Jesus Christ! I love your attitude and admire you strong feeling about our Lord. I can't find the right words to tell about all my feelings and my English is not very good, but i want to tell you one thing. I'm having problems with my relationship with God, and I felt I don't have time for God and for faith. After your concert i cried and prayed and I felt stronger. Now I'm coming back to the right way with my doubts, but with my growing faith, too. So, thank you! And thank God! Love you! God bless :)

First concert of the day, and though I had already seen Sarah singing in the big concert the day before, this small concert at 8:55 was the best. I was in the line waiting to get in when the song "Brand New Day" started. When I got trough the security check I just ran to the concert hall, in the crowd and started singing. I had gone to sleep at 01:30am and woke up at 07:00am, I was really tired, but hearing Sarah's song really cleared the sleep from my eyes and gave the best kick start for the last day of the festivals. Thank you, Sarah, for coming to Finland, singing my favorite song and being so wonderful. You are truly a beautiful person, inside and out, and honest with a big H! Please come back soon!

I wanted to tell you that you gave me the best Christmas gift this year. And I wanted to thank you for that. You gave me hope. The way you talked about things that shouldn’t happen, like a piece of my life. And your songs spoke straight to my heart. Take me away especially. I kinda wish God would take me away. Take me home. But your gig in Turku made me realize that though I don’t feel like I belong here, God still wants me to be here and that He will never desert me. (I had about a page written, but it seems it doesn't fit here, so I need to put the most important thigs here). I've been in a kind of freefall, not knowing when I'll hit hit the ground. Faith has seemed more like a curse than a gift. But your gig in Turku made me feel like there's a chance that God will catch me. And I hope He will. There are somethings in this world that we think we are meant to do. When we grow up people say, "What do you want to do when you grow up?" Some how this is attributed to work or some other thing that we enjoy doing. I still remember when I worked as a restaurant maintenance guy that I told a friend who was a Christian. "I was born to do this." He said, "no you weren't," but he never elaborated other than just telling me I was born for something greater. I still get tears, all the time, and even more so when I drive home after a night of Bible school, realizing the depth of God's love and how amazing He is. Its not just that God speaks, "You shall love me with everything," (My paraphrase) its that I do. I was born to love Him, I was born to walk with Him everyday. Yes, I am, I was born to worship.

Posted a couple of comments on your myspace a year or so ago. So glad you have this. Your music got me through a lot of long and dark nights. I am a former cutter and would listen to your songs when I wanted to cut. The deal was listen to a song and if I still wanted to cut I could but I would keep listening to the music until the desire to SI passed, sometimes it was hours. The two songs that mean the most to me are "At About Midnight" and "Where the Past Meets Today." Please keep doing what you do. I have never been a huge fan of anybody but your music is different and I like it. So thanks! Tammy

I loved Mysterious Ways that Sarah Kelly did with tobyMac on the U2 tribute album. It is such a powerful song and Sarah Kelly has amazing voices on the song. I am a big fan of tobyMac and I just loved his version of Mysterious Ways. I am also thankful that Sarah Kelly could add her vocals to the song to make the even more better. God can move in mysterious ways and just listening to this song reminds me of that every time I listen to it.

We were so impressed with your voice, the way you carried yourself and how you related to the people in the audience. We were really touched by your songs and the stories you shared about your life. Afterward we were blown away as we watched you stay and talk to each person who came up to you. My daughter bought your CD and you signed it. You also gave her some words of encouragement that she still remembers to this day. You made her feel so special and so loved.
